Porsche not interested in Formula 1 entry
– Porsche has once again denied that it is interested in racing in Formula 1, instead emphasising that competing in the World Endurance Championship is preferable for the German manufacturer.Porsche returned to the LMP1 class of the WEC in 2014 and claimed victory in the final round of the season in Brazil, with rumours persisting that it could compete in Formula 1 in the future.But Chief Designer Wolfgang Hatz has dismissed such suggestions."Formula 1 is not a topic for us and it will not be one," he told Auto Motor und Sport."Le Mans [WEC], on the other hand, is increasingly becoming a more attractive environment.
