Honda allowed to develop engine in season

– Honda will be able to develop its new power unit throughout the 2015 season after being given allowances by the FIA.With the discovery of a loophole, existing engine suppliers Mercedes, Renault and Ferrari were cleared to spread their 32 development tokens over the course of the campaign, rather than be forced to meet a homologation deadline of February 28, to which they were bound in 2014.Honda, which is supplying McLaren, had originally been told to homologate its unit by the end of February, and that it would not be allowed to apply updates throughout the year.However, the FIA has now relaxed its approach after Honda officials met with the sport's governing body in Paris to...
