Ferrari confident of improved power unit performance
+ Ferrari is confident that it goes into the 2015 season with a more competitive engine package than the one it struggled with last year.
The Maranello-based squad battled throughout 2014 with an engine that was well down on power to those of its rivals, ending the season winless and just fourth in the constructors’ standings.
The team has undertaken a serious development drive over the winter to address the problems that plagued its power unit last year, which Ferrari technical director James Allison believes will allow it to progress in 2015.
