Lotus E23 to make late debut at Jerez

– Lotus will make a late start to this year's pre-season testing period, with the Mercedes-powered E23 yet to arrive at the Circuito de Jerez.While team transporters and personnel are present at the Spanish circuit, the car is still being transported after final checks at the outfit's Enstone factory.A Lotus spokesman explained to GPUpdate.net that the earliest point at which the car may run will be Monday, with the standard preparation required."We'll need to do the usual build, checks, rebuild etc. so I can't predict a run time as of yet as it's the first time we use this car," said the spokesman.
