McLaren-Honda announces line-up for 2015 first Barcelona test
2015 Formula 1 second pre-season test takes place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya from the 19-22 February. Jenson Button will drive McLaren MP4-30 on the first two days of the test and Fernando Alonso takes over for the remainder of the test. The MP4-30 suffered a complicated debut test at the Circuit de Jerez last week, with numerous reliability troubles costing McLaren test time. The new car completed just 79 laps over the four-days of testing. McLaren is the first team to announce its driver schedule for the first Barcelona test. The team confirmed the news on Twitter.
