McLaren-Honda fears further MGU-K problems

+ McLaren has confirmed it could face a repeat of the MGU-K problem that limited it to just 21 laps on the opening day of testing in Barcelona. The team was forced to cut short its running on day one of the second pre-season test  after it encountered a faulty seal on the MGU-K of the Honda-powered MP4-30. “We had to stop running this morning after discovering a faulty seal on the MGU-K,” said Honda chief Yasuhisa Arai. “That faulty part then caused an issue that requires full replacement of the power-unit – and the time needed to make those changes effectively ends today’s programme.” Fernando Alonso is scheduled to drive on Friday, and the team fears that the problem...
