Vettel prepared to defy F1 helmet change ban
Sebastian Vettel says he is prepared to flout rules that state drivers cannot change their helmet design during the 2015 Formula 1 season, saying he will donate any subsequent fine to charity. The German, who switches to Ferrari this year, is known for regularly getting commemorative helmets created for certain races, not least in 2014 when he wore different designs for Monza, Austin and his Red Bull swansong, amongst others. However, under new rules imposed by the FIA for 2015, drivers can now only nominate one design and maintain it for the rest of the season effectively ruling out any in-season changes.
