Force India to debut VJM08 at final F1 test
Sahara Force India has confirmed it will give the new VJM08 its first track run on the second day of the final F1 pre-season test at the Circuit de Catalunya. The team only made its first 2015 appearance last week at the same circuit, but spent the four days running its 2014 specification VJM07 as the much-delayed VJM08 continued its constructed in the factory. Though there remained some doubts that the car would not appear before the team heads to Australia for the opening round of the season, Otmar Szafnauer says the car has 'been fired up' in the factory and will be sent to Spain to turn its first wheel on Friday. “[The build] has progressed well over the last few days and the car has...
