Hydraulic leak limits McLaren to seven laps

Sutton Images Enlarge McLaren has been forced to end the first day of the final test in Barcelona prematurely, having completed just seven laps. Jenson Button was in the car on Thursday and recorded the team's first laps since Fernando Alonso's serious crash on the final day of the second test. After an issue-laden winter so far McLaren came into the day with just over 200 laps to its name but Button was limited to only seven more in the morning. The shutters came down in the garage around midday and after lunch the team confirmed a hydraulic leak had forced a power unit change, enough to end its test for the day.
