Sainz Jr. hails early impression of updated Toro Rosso
+ Carlos Sainz Jr. says he was impressed with his first impression of Toro Rosso’s updated STR10 on the opening day of the final test in Barcelona. Toro Rosso fitted a series of developmental parts onto its 2015 car on Thursday, as part of a new update package. Sainz completed 86 laps of the Circuit de Catalunya at the wheel of the upgraded car, despite a stoppage at Turn 10 in the afternoon. “It was very nice to drive the car fitted with the update package,” Sainz said. “That meant much of my time was spent collecting valuable aero data for the engineers to study.
