Vote To Improve Onboard Cameras Days Before Alonso's Accident

In a piece of irony that possibly won't be lost on McLaren's Fernando Alonso, it transpires that the Motorsport Council voted for better cameras in order to investigate crashes only days before his testing accident. The Spaniard was reported to have lost consciousness and suffered concussion after a testing crash, forcing him to miss the last days of testing in Barcelona. Part of the speculation about his incident has arisen due to the lack of clear footage available to explain how the incident happened.
