FIA confirms helmet design restrictions

Scuderia Ferrari The FIA has confirmed that drivers will no longer be permitted to change their helmet designs during the 2015 season. Leading figures within the sport were concerned that fans were having trouble identifying drivers due to the regularity with which some opted to alter their design. One key example was four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel, who regularly changed helmet designs during his Red Bull career and 'retired' certain paint schemes following each victory.
