Manor ‘ready to race' as financial backers unveiled

Manor F1 Team have released a press statement outlining their plans for the upcoming season, as well as formally stating the investment and managerial structures that have saved the team. The team exited administration on the 19th February following a Company Voluntary Arrangement, with investment coming from OVO Energy founder Stephen Fitzpatrick. Based in Bristol, Fitzpatrick is understood to have made a financial investment from his own pocket, as opposed to using funding from his company. Manor's President & Sporting Director will continue to be Graeme Lowdon, who served in that role under the team's previous guise of Marussia, while in the interim, Chairman will be Sainsbury's CEO...
