Mallya: ‘It's no secret we've faced challenges over winter'
Force India team boss Dr Vijay Mallya says that the team's recent troubles are now firmly behind them, and that the team have now begun the task of catching up in earnest. Despite being the first of the teams to ‘launch' their 2015 challenge in Mexico in January, the 2015 car only appeared on the second day of the final Barcelona test. The team had skipped the first test entirely, and ran the first Barcelona test with their 2014 car. So quiet was their off season, that driver Nico Hulkenberg completed his part-time WEC testing for Porsche in Bahrain before he ever got a chance to step into a Force India for his full time role.
