Bottas confident of Malaysia return

Valtteri Bottas says he is making good progress in his recovery from a back injury that forced him to miss the season-opening Australian Grand Prix. The Finn, 25, was forbidden to race in Melbourne on Sunday by official Formula 1 doctors after suffering a small tear in an annular disc during qualifying. 'Progress is made and every day is a step forward. Can't wait for Malaysia,' tweeted the Williams driver. He added: 'Sisu,' a Finnish word for determination, bravery and resilience. Bottas was forbidden from racing in Australia even though he was able to extricate himself from the car within the regulation five seconds, a safety requirement.
