Hamilton ahead in second practice

Lewis Hamilton has topped the times in the second free practice session of the Malaysian Grand Prix weekend, fighting back from a first session where engine trouble prevented him from setting a timed lap. Will Stevens was the first man to go out on track in the Manor Marussia, soon followed by the Ferrari duo who went out to set the early pace. Nico Rosberg took over later on while Raikkonen eventually set the better time after switching to the mediums. Hamilton however topped everyone in the closing stages, having sat out the first 35 minutes of the session as Mercedes were finishing work on rectifying the power unit issue that he encountered during the morning session.
