Stevens ruled out of Malaysian Grand Prix

Sutton Images Enlarge Will Stevens will miss the Malaysian Grand Prix after Manor failed to rectify a fuel system problem which saw the Brit sit out qualifying. Manor was given special permission to race in Sepang by the FIA after both drivers failed to set a time within 107% of the Q1 benchmark. Stevens had given the team hope of competing on Friday when he managed to get within 107% of Lewis Hamilton's FP2 headline time. On Sunday morning Manor confirmed Stevens would be unable to start the race.
