Ericsson takes blame for early Malaysian GP exit

After a double points score in Australia, the Sauber F1 Team had a disappointing Malaysian Grand Prix on Sunday, with Felipe Nasr finishing outside the points in twelfth, while Marcus Ericsson spun out early as he attempted to make early inroads on those drivers ahead of him. Nasr was forced to pit just before the safety car came out to clear Ericsson’s car from the gravel trap to change his front wing after clipping the back of Kimi Raikkonen’s Ferrari at the end of the opening lap, and then had a relatively quiet race to finish twelfth, unable to match his exploits of his debut in Australia. “It was overall a difficult weekend for me,” revealed Nasr. “I was struggling to find a...
