McLaren double retirement due to ‘harsh use of the power unit'

Honda's Yasuhisa Arai says that McLaren's double retirement from Sunday's Malaysian Grand Prix was due to harsh use of their power unit. Both Fernando Alonso & Jenson Button retired from Sunday's race with mechanical problems. Fernando made it to Lap 21 before having to pit and retire with an ERS cooling problem, while Jenson made it a bit further, getting to Lap 41 before a turbo problem slowed him and forced him to trundle back to the pits under orders from the team. Having played a conservative game in the opening round in Australia, there was paddock speculation that Honda had opened the taps a little on the amount of available power from their power units, as the car appeared...
