Have Your Say: Grid Girls – Yay or Nay?

The FIA World Endurance Championship has confirmed that they will not be using grid girls in 2015, starting from Round 1 in Silverstone. We want to hear your opinions…should F1 follow suit? Grid girls have become a staple of high end motorsport in the last few decades, starting with the rise of sponsorship in the late 60s and early 70s. Moto GP, F1, WEC, WTCC, all have shown their glamour by hiring attractive women to attend the races and look pretty for the TV cameras on the grid as footage shows off the gleaming cars and concentrating drivers.
