Hamilton pips Rosberg to pole in thrilling qualifying at China

Lewis Hamilton has remained at the top in China after securing pole position for the Chinese Grand Prix, albeit only +0.042 seconds ahead of his main rival and team-mate Nico Rosberg. The second row of the grid will consit of Sebastian Vettel and Felipe Massa, whilst Kimi Raikkonen could only manage sixth fastest in the second Ferrari. Once again the Shanghai International Circuit was bathed in glorious sunshine, as the 20 drivers prepared to return to the track for the all-important qualifying hour to determine the grid for the 56-lap race.
