Button penalised for Maldonado collision

+ Jenson Button has been demoted to 14th after he was found to be at fault for his collision with Pastor Maldonado late in the Chinese Grand Prix. Button clashed with Lotus’ Pastor Maldonado at Turn 1 while the pair battled for 13th during the closing stages of the race, pitting the Venezuelan into a spin. Maldonado briefly continued, before he was forced to retire with a terminal brake problem, while Button limped home in 13th with a damaged front endplate. The 2009 champion was found to be at fault for the collision, and has been handed a five-second time penalty and two penalty points. Manor’s Roberto Merhi was also penalised after he was found to have exceeded the required time...
