Rosberg edges Hamilton – FP2 Report

Nico Rosberg edged Lewis Hamilton in FP2 at the Bahrain International Circuit as Mercedes return to the top of the time sheets.  The setting sun provided teams with the opportunity to run in conditions similar to what's expected during qualifying and on race day. The session began with air temperatures down to 30 degrees and the track temperature at 36 degrees – 20 degrees cooler than the FP1 session. After a tricky first practice session, the Williams pair of Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas were the first to trial the cooler conditions, with Massa immediately going faster than he did in FP1 earlier in the day.
