Renault admit vulnerability to China issues
Renault's Chief Technical Officer, Rob White, admits that the issue which ended Max Verstappen's race in China is still a vulnerability for the engine supplier, suggesting that they do not yet know what the cause was. Renault came under fire following the Chinese Grand Prix after separate issues forced the race retirement of Red Bull's Daniil Kvyat and Toro Rosso's Max Verstappen at the earlier and later parts of the race. Speaking in the team's press conference, White began by saying that the short time between the Chinese and the Bahrain Grands Prix meant that there has been little time to resolve the issues.
