Disappointing landmark race with Mercedes for Rosberg

Nico Rosberg didn't have much to celebrate in what was his 100th race for Mercedes at the Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday. Although the German has now jumped to second in the drivers' championship, he's currently 27 points behind teammate and leader Lewis Hamilton, who has won three of the four races this season. Moreover, Rosberg's position in the standings is just one point clear from Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel, a storyline which has played in recent races wherein the Mercedes driver has been constantly been upstaged or challenged by Ferrari despite being in a superior car.
