Teams & fans pay tribute to Ayrton Senna on 21st anniversary

May 1st is a date that the entire F1 world remembers as the date Ayrton Senna suffered his fatal accident. 21 years after the tragic events of Imola 1994, the sport takes a moment to remember one of the greatest drivers it has ever seen. Ayrton was killed in a crash at the Tamburello corner at Imola on 1 May 1994. He was leading the San Marino Grand Prix at the time ahead of Benetton's Michael Schumacher. Ayrton made his debut in 1984, driving for the Toleman team (later Benetton, then Renault, now Lotus F1 Team). He moved to the 80s incarnation of Lotus, taking his first F1 victory with them before moving to McLaren. He won his three World Championships with the Woking squad before...
