Lauda: Ferrari engine level with Mercedes
Mercedes' formidable duo of Rosberg and Hamilton opened an imposing gap at the season debut in Albert Park, but their position at the top of the table has looked precarious ever since, with the charging Ferraris never far behind. Comments from Niki Lauda, which shed light on just how far the Maranello outfit came over the winter break, further clarify that the Mercs' position is anything but certain.
