Ricciardo: Not acceptable, but out of my control

Daniel Ricciardo says he is doing the best with what he has as he lost a day of running following a late decision to go ahead and fit his fourth new Renault power unit of the 2015 season. The Australian spent much of FP1 and FP2 in the garage, Red Bull having intended to get him out with an old engine and do limited running initially, before going ahead and fitting the fourth engine – the last of his allowance – through FP2. In all, Ricciardo managed just 13 laps all day. Indeed, though Ricciardo says he wasn't expecting to get a lot of mileage done as Red Bull work to preserve the power unit for this and the next race at Monaco – where any penalty for a fifth engine would be felt...
