Tost defends Kvyat after tough Red Bull start

Red Bull/Getty Images Toro Rosso team principal Franz Tost has defended Daniil Kvyat following the Russian's tough start to his Red Bull career. Kvyat has amassed only five points across the opening five races to sit 15th in the drivers' championship, 20 points adrift of seventh-placed team-mate Daniel Ricciardo. Kvyat made his Formula 1 debut with Toro Rosso in 2014 and was originally set to remain with the team this season but Sebastian Vettel's switch to Ferrari opened up a slot at Red Bull, into which Kvyat was duly placed.
