One Year Rewind – Rosberg bounces back in Monaco
Nico Rosberg stormed to his second consecutive Monaco Grand Prix victory last year, after taking a controversial pole position on Saturday. It was undoubtedly one of the most dramatic and talked about moments from qualifying during the 2014 season, with the German going off track at Mirabeau on his second and final Q3 attempt, bringing out a yellow flag and causing his team-mate Lewis Hamilton to back off as he returned to the Circuit de Monaco. Straight away, accusations of Rosberg purposely going off to secure pole position emerged. These were swiftly denied by the team and the man himself, but Hamilton disagreed.
