P1: Hamilton heads Rosberg
Lewis Hamilton set the pace in opening practice for the Canadian GP on Friday from Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg. The world champion lapped the 4.361km Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in a time of 1:16.212 to end the session 0.415s faster than Rosberg, with Lotus's Romain Grosjean third fastest. Grosjean was 1.5s off the pace and with Nico Hulkenberg's Force India next up on a track noted for the emphasis it places on outright power, the early indication at least is that Mercedes power could be the way to go this weekend. If so, it would spell disappointment for Ferrari, who are introducing a significant engine upgrade - using development 'tokens' - this weekend. Their leading runner, Sebastian...
