Bottas expecting similar performance to Spain
Valtteri Bottas says Williams should be expecting to return to the form and competitiveness shown at last month's Spanish Grand Prix in Canada, after a difficult Monaco round. The Finn enjoyed a positive Friday at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, finishing 11th and sixth in the two practice sessions. He believes qualifying will be close but is hopeful of a good result. 'The rain compromised FP2 for everyone but we knew it was coming so we were able to do a little bit of work at the end of FP1 that we would normally do in FP2,' he explained after Friday's running.
