Free Practice One D'Ambrosio brings out red flag

London ePrix – 0815 hours local signified for the first time in nearly thirty years that world championship racing single seaters took to the streets of London. The 45 minute open practice session opened with all cars taking to the track. Formula E regulars were immediately setting the pace, with Nelson Piquet, Jerome D'Ambrosio and Sam Bird updating their lap times to set the bar fairly high. Formula E newcomers Fabio Leimer, Simona de Silvestro, Alex Fontana, Sakon Yamamoto and Oliver Turvey were getting themselves not just acquainted to the new Battersea Park circuit but also the Renault Spark SRT_01E.
