Manor to run Leimer in Hungaroring practice

2013 GP2 Series champion Fabio Leimer will participate in this weekend’s opening practice session at the Hungaroring for the Manor F1 Team. The Swiss driver was signed as the team’s official test and reserve driver earlier this season, and the session on Friday will be the first opportunity for Leimer to drive for the team. “On this most difficult of weekends for the team, I am very appreciative of their decision to continue with my planned FP1 session,” insisted Leimer. “I’m looking forward to the opportunity and I hope I can make a positive contribution to the engineering programme for the weekend.” Team Principal John Booth is looking forward to the feedback Leimer gives...
