Alonso praises 'beautifully balanced' MP4-30
– Fernando Alonso has described the McLaren MP4-30 as a "beautifully balanced" chassis, again suggesting that only Honda's power unit is holding the team back.Alonso benefitted from a race of attrition to secure a fifth-place finish for the renewed partnership in Hungary, with team-mate Jenson Button backing him up in ninth position.While the Spaniard admits there is still plenty of work to be done, given the circumstances of the result, he is sure that the car underneath him is fundamentally competitive."We're still not where we want to be, but the result in Hungary shows that we're headed in the right direction," said Alonso as part of a mid-season review on...
