The Professor nearly an eight times F1 world champion

Last week FIA published an feature on Alain Prost which is a refreshing submission by the governing body's lethargic media department. The feature provides an interesting insight into the man known as The Professor during his 13 years at the pinnacle of the sport and we reproduce it here in the hope that the FIA continue to delve into their archives and illuminate the present with the sport's illustrious past. With 12-and-a-half more points, Alain Prost could have been an eight-times Formula 1 World Champion and indisputably, therefore, the most successful driver to have ever walked the Earth.
