Hamilton fastest after final practice at Spa

Lewis Hamilton has finally managed to thwart team-mate Nico Rosberg, ending the third and final practice session fastest for Mercedes. The German marque was unsurprisingly superior around the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, with Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen best of the rest in third and fourth. With unusually pleasant weather conditions bathing the iconic circuit, the twenty drivers returned to the track for the third and final practice session of the weekend in a bid to finalise their preparations for the all-important qualifying hour.
