Monza calls for help from Italian government

Monza has urged the Italian government to throw its weight in supporting its bid to secure the future of the Italian Grand Prix. As talks between circuits bosses and Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone continued, the Briton said on Friday that a new deal was "unlikely" as the Italian track did not "want to pay". Andrea Dell'Orto, the president of the SIAS - Monza's management company - said talks were still ongoing and there was no panic yet.
