Fan arrested after invading track during Singapore GP

A track invader has been arrested by police after managing to gain access to the circuit during the Singapore Grand Prix, causing a long Safety Car period. A fan was seen jumping feet first through an opening in the trackside fencing before sprinting across the circuit just as race leader Sebastian Vettel came onto the straight. He then walked alongside the circuit before exiting through a second opening. The FIA confirmed the intruder had been taken into police custody.
