Ricciardo expects Mercedes to bounce back at Suzuka

Daniel Ricciardo expects Mercedes return to the front of the field at Suzuka this weekend, believing its struggles in the Singapore Grand Prix to be entirely track-related. Mercedes saw its streak of 23 consecutive pole positions come to an end on Saturday in Singapore as Sebastian Vettel scored pole position. Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg could only qualify fifth and sixth as they struggled to match the pace of Ferrari and Red Bull at the front of the field. In the race on Sunday, Hamilton retired due to a power unit issue while Rosberg finished fourth having failed to fight at the front for the podium positions.
