Kvyat fastest in wet second Suzuka session

Red Bull/Getty Images Red Bull driver Daniil Kvyat posted the quickest time during a wet second free practice session ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix. Kvyat clocked a time of 1:48.277 during the driest spell of running at Suzuka to finish 0.023s ahead of Nico Rosberg as the drivers were able to use Intermediate tyres. Kvyat’s time came shortly before conditions deteriorated with half of the session remaining and followed on from a wet start to Friday, when Carlos Sainz Jr. went fastest in the opening 90 minutes in the morning.
