Daniil Kvyat: The support “is something quite special”

Daniil Kvyat is ready for his home race at the Sochi Autodrom this weekend, and believes the support he will get from the Russian fans will give him a bit of a lift. The Infiniti Red Bull Racing driver has described the Sochi circuit as a technical circuit that requires some time to work out the ‘best way round it’, although he is hoping for a better race result this year after finishing outside the points while driving for Scuderia Toro Rosso in 2014 despite qualifying an excellent fifth. “I would describe it as a classic modern-style track,” said Kvyat, who currently sits eighth in the championship. “But what’s really important is that there is quite a lot of room for...
