Magnussen confirms departure from McLaren

McLaren Honda McLaren reserve driver Kevin Magnussen has confirmed in an interview that he will be departing the outfit at the end of the year. Magnussen joined McLaren's young driver scheme in 2010 and competed in Formula 1 for the squad last year, before being demoted to a reserve role for 2015. With McLaren retaining Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button for 2016, Magnussen will look elsewhere for a seat in the sport next season.
