Ericsson satisfied with performance, despite missing target

Marcus Ericsson says he was satisfied with his performance in the Mexican Grand Prix, despite missing out on his aim of scoring points. The Swedish driver started from 14th place on the grid, helped by a few drivers picking up penalties, but struggled for pace and finished 12th. 'Overall it was a decent race after a rather difficult weekend,' he said. 'We were aiming for points, which did not work out with P12. However, I am satisfied with my performance and also with the strategy we chose. 'Throughout the whole race stint I had issues with the brakes, as they were overheating.
