Singapore track invader jailed for six weeks

– The man who walked onto the circuit during the Singapore Grand Prix has been handed a six-week jail sentence, following a hearing in a Singapore District Court.British national Yogvitam Pravin Dhokia, 27, breached security during the race and walked across the circuit at Esplanade Drive, before wandering along the side of the track.Dhokia had been charged with committing a "rash act" which endangered other people, an offence which could have led to up to six months in jail alongside a hefty fine."The accused's act was not only rash but was both selfish and foolhardy," District Judge Chay Yuen Fatt is quoted by Reuters.
