Sauber has outperformed expectations – Ericsson

Marcus Ericsson says Sauber's performance so far in 2015 has exceeded his expectations. The Swedish driver joined the Swiss team after completing his rookie campaign in F1 with Caterham. Sauber suffered a disastrous 2014, failing to score a point. However, despite currently holding eighth place in the standings, the team has enjoyed a more successful season. Ericsson is 18th in the drivers' championship with nine points, while his team-mate Felipe Nasr is 13th with 27 points, bringing Sauber's tally to 36.
