Newey to lend his expertise to F3 team

 XPB Images Red Bull Racing designer Adrian Newey will be joining Van Amersfoot Racing to help the Dutch outfit with its European Formula 3 efforts. According to Autosport, Newey, in addition obviously to his F1 commitments with Red Bull, will be lending a helping hand to VAR's technical staff in order to extract the full potential from its VW-powered Dallara contender. The fact that Adrian Newey's son, Harrison, is currently being considered for a seat with VAR may well justify the technical wizard's involvement, or indeed it may even be the deciding factor in recruiting the young hopeful.
