Grosjean poised for ‘emotional’ Lotus farewell

Romain Grosjean admits his final race for Lotus at next weekend’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will be “emotional” after ten years with the team. The Frenchman first joined as a young driver in 2005, going on to race for the team as Renault back in 2009 and then regaining his seat at the start of 2012. Grosjean will swap Lotus for the new Haas F1 Team next season but he told F1i he will find it hard to get out of the car for the final time after the last race of this season. “It’s going to be an emotional one,” Grosjean said at the Race of Champions. “I think after the chequered flag in Abu Dhabi I’m going to realise that this was my last race with Enstone for...
