Yas Marina Qualifying: Rosberg thumps Hamilton
Nico Rosberg scored his sixth successive pole position as he powered around the glittering Yas Marina Circuit to claim tops spot on the grid for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, as Mercedes dominated qualifying once again. Rosberg's impressive form showed no signs of subsiding and once again he out shone his world champion teammate Lewis Hamilton who gave it his best shot with an impressive final lap to nip on to the top spot of the timing screens. But not much later, Rosberg's was even better – astounding in fact as he stopped the clocks at 1:40.237 which was over three tenths better than Hamilton.
