McLaren reveals stunning F1 concept car
McLaren has caused a stir by pulling the wraps off a striking new F1 concept car, the MP4-X, which showcases a number of features and innovations being proposed for the future. Allowing fans the chance to get a visual idea of how bold new technologies and advances could develop the sport in the coming years, the MP4-X project showcases a number of innovative features and incorporates 'emerging narratives'. The aggressive but sleek design is notable for its use of a closed-cockpit and wheel-arches, while the technological showpieces include a full-electric hybrid motor to be powered by induction loops around a circuit and ground effect aero.
